To my girls,
Who can color the sun
with a single yellow crayon,
Who can always spot the moon
in the vast night sky,
And who can catch all the stars
in a single mason jar.
May you never be too old for children's books.
bedtime stories, and goodnight kisses.
You are, and always will be, my favorite story.
Thank you to those who first handed us a paintbrush;
These illustrations would be colorless without you.
Thank you to those who introduced us to rhyme;
These words would be graceless without you.
Thank you to those who have shared in our adoration of Children's Lake;
These memories would hold less heart without you.
Thank you to all of those who have encouraged our adventure;
This story would mean so much less without you to share it with.
Love, Terri and Lauren
